A quarter size baby
turtle walks into the garage of Producer Bill Horneck's Boynton
Beach Florida home.
This was the beginning of a family experience that is the inspiration
for ReptilesTV.com. That turtle, aptly named "Spunky" demonstrated
to Bill, his wife and kids just how much time, research and energy
are needed to raise a happy and healthy herp.
Spunky was recently transitioned to a wildlife refuge in Loxahatchee
Florida so that he could expend his never ending energy in a much
larger natural habitat. It was sad time for the Horneck family,
but also left them with a shared experience that taught many valuable
lessons.
We hope this website answers many beginner hobbyist questions,
and becomes a way for you to share your own learning experiences
with us. The one significant difference you will find on this reptile
site is our commitment to communicating our information in high
quality video.

Hello my name is Hillary Dupont. I
am 25 years old and was born and raised in the Everglades of South
Florida. Growing up with a father as a herpetologist is an exciting
life for me. Ever since I was a young child my father never held
back from taking me out into the field to research and collect
reptiles. An ordinary summer day for us would start around 6a.m.
with my mother packing us a lunch, drinks and plenty of empty snake
bags.

Producer Israel Dupont,
having been raised amidst a world of nature and exotic animals,
is a national award-winning performer, writer, and veteran producer
of live entertainment. As a naturalist and crocodilian specialist,
his live shows and educational programs with alligators, crocodiles
